House cleaning tip? How to clean a tub?
hi,
I am 17 and a bit worried about my job that starts today cleaning houses. Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and organizing are all pretty simple. However, I’ve never had to clean a shower/bath tub or a toilet before, atleast not to the expected standard. Can you give me tips on cleaning those two things? (It seems self explanatory, but I don’t want to mess up, or not do something right and come off as lazy).
I like to use powdered comet, clorox disenfecting bathroom cleaner, scrub brush, old toothbrush, paper towels, and a clean sponge
1.I start by removing everything in the shower
2.I then spray the bathroom cleaner eveywhere, let it sit for a couple minutes(10 min.) recommened
3.After you have let it sit spray it some more everywhere and wipe with a slightly damp sponge(this includes the basin, walls, around it)
4. then take comet and sprinkle it in the basin of the tub, with some water to make a paste, let it sit
5. scrub everywhere with the scrub brush and old toothbrush(hard to reach places)
6. rinse everything down
7. spray your bathroom cleaner everywhere one more time and wipe down with a paper towel
Toilet:
Get a toilet bowl cleaner and a toilet scrubber
clorox bathroom cleaner, paper towels
1. flush the toilet
2.put your toilet bowl cleaner everywhere and under the rim, let it sit for 10 minutes
3. scrub everywhere really good
4. spray your bathroom cleaner everywhere around the toilet(lid, seat, tank, handle, base)
everywehre, let it sit
5. scrub the toilet again, flush
6.After letting the cleaner sit, spray some more and wipe with paper towels
***when your cleansers are sitting, you should be cleaning other stuff such as the sinks and mirrors
