Aluminum foil prevents silver from tarnishing?
I’ve heard you can prevent your silver from tarnishing by storing it somewhere fairly airtight with a piece of aluminum foil. Is this true? And if it’s true, does the foil get “used up” and necessitate being replaced after awhile? And if so, after how long?
I’m not sure ,but I know if you put foil in the bottom of a bowl, fill with warm water, and put some baking soda in it, it will clean the silver!
