Homemade pH paper shelf life?
As a portion of a science fair experiment, we are making pH paper today with red cabbage. I know it is not terribly accurate, but it will suit our purposes. My question is: How long can the excess papers be stored? While I plan to give some away, I cannot possibly use the remaining papers in the next few days. I would like to have them on-hand for future experiments.
if it is wet or dry, I will bet it would be fine for quite some time ..
if youwrap it air tight &store it in the freezer
If it is dry, it might last until you are ready,
by keeping it wrapped in plastic & at least refrigerated
