No, planetary or galactic alignments have absolutely no effect on us. These objects are too far away for there to be any gravitational effect on Earth, much less something so extreme as “crustal displacement.” In addition, there are going to be no unusual alignments in 2012.
The core of the planet will not overheat. The whole concept of “neutrinos from the Sun causing the Earth’s core to overheat” is ludicrous. The temperature of the outer core is about 7200 – 9032 ºF (4000-5000ºC). The temperature of the inner core is about 9032 – 10832 ºF (5000-6000 ºC). Define “core overheating.” No, it is not overheating and will not overheat. The outer core is molten metal now. There is no real science in the movie 2012. It is fiction, and bad fiction at that.
