my friend bought a car with all the stereo stuff already wired,it had like 20 wires running to nothing….?
they were in the trunk and running to nothing at all..but he had his subs and the amp in the trunk also..but his power wire from the battery was hella thick and hard to twist even with pliers…his amps terminals are kinda angled towards the box..and this thick ass wire is almost impossible to get a good angle with the wire to get it in the terminal…well he somehow got it in and the subs worked and everything….a week later,he said he was driving and it just cut out…the deck and door speakers work still…check the power,ground,and remote connections..but the amp turns on with the light green..2 secs later it turns red…all the connections seem fine..fuses also..but im stumped on why its not working…ive checked all connections from the amp and they are fine…any help on this will be greatly appriciated…thank u
check the ground it may have come loose and is frying the amp causing it to go into protection mode
