I saw a ring in a window of a jewelry store today, what does these abbreviations mean?
It was a diamond ring, and it had a little sign beneath it describing it somehow, but I don’t know what it means. Can anyone tell me wat it means, and how much its worth? “PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND, CENTER .88 CT TW, G-COLOR, SI1 EGL” help!!
Princess Cut means Square shaped.
Center diamond is .88 Carats.
Color is G on a scale where d is the best color.
Clarity is Sl1
This diamond sucks. The clarity sucks, the color is alright, and the center diamond is < 1 carat which makes it worthless (not literally, but compared to 1 + carat diamonds ! ). Also, you should get a diamond with better color and clarity. If you want it just for work or to go w| your casual attires, it'll be ohks, but if you want it for partays, it's not ohks(:
