How much pre cut garlic equals one clove of garlic?
I have a container of pre cut, pre roasted garlic and I have a recipe that asks for 4 garlic cloves that need to be roasted in the oven. I figured I could just use the container of roasted stuff I have. Could anyone tell me what the ratio like in teaspoons or tablespoons on how much cut equals one clove? Thanks in advance.
I would personally use about 3 tablespoons of the roasted garlic you have (I love garlic), but here’s one way to measure it:
Garlic Equivalents
1 head or bulb of garlic = (about) 10 to 15 cloves.
1 small garlic clove = 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic = 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder = 1/4 teaspoon garlic juice = 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 medium garlic clove = 1 teaspoon minced garlic = 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 large garlic clove = 2 teaspoons minced garlic = 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 extra-large garlic clove = 1 tablespoon minced garlic
