what kind of paint do you use on clear glass so it is opaque?
I want to paint a clear glass vase with a floral design. What do I use so the design is not see through?
you can use basic household glosses or satins,…satins will tend to be a bit more opaque, but i would suggest you give it a second coat to make it less see through,…also,…glosses and satins are oil based so they are waterproof and are a bit stronger than water based paints,…you can actually buy paint for glass,..but it tends to be see thru,…or if you are using a stencil,…spraypaint for cars are really good,..i suggest krylon or hycote,…there is a large range of colours and nozels
