Just for fun……… gem house?
If houses came in ONLY one type of the material…gems. which one would you want your house to be totally made out of? that means no other kinds of material at all.Diamonds (not colored),blue sapphires,red rubies,green emeralds,opal,etc…. If you choose diamonds it will be the same effect as a glass house. People can see through your house…might be some privacy issues,lol.
you can choose how light or dark you gem is. But just not the diamond.
I’d pick Nephrite Jade. Why? It’s the toughest gem material in the world so I wouldn’t have to worry about maintenance or security. It can range from translucent to opaque. I’d use the translucent type to add light into my living & dining rooms and use the opaque type for rooms I’d like to keep private. Because of the way Nephrite conducts heat, I’d enjoy cool summers and warm winters. Lastly, as commercial quality Nephrite isn’t expensive, I wouldn’t have to worry about people coming to pick at my house (like Hansel & Gretal). ^_^
