What is the lump i have found outside my bum hole?
I have had a spot on the external right side of my bum hole for a week now and it has become painful to touch. It is the size of a marble. It has a white/pale pink colour however i have noticed 3 small blue patches form on the lump. What could it be?
It’s probably a haemorrhoid (prolapsed and congested blood vessels that are found in the anus and the rectum). They are caused by straining when going for a poo and constipation. Usually they will resolve on their own, but if it is painful then it might be getting thrombosed-this means that the blood in the haemorrhoid is getting clotted and not flowing any more and this can be very painful.
Worthwhile going to the doctor to get it checked out-meanwhile make sure you aren’t constipated and you can buy over the counter haemorrhoid cream to relieve the pain.
