How can I block AM from a wire?
I have an “Invisible Fence” system for my dog, because of the unusual layout of my yard I need to block the AM signal coming from the wire for a stretch.
Is there some type of DIY shielding I can make to block the signal coming from the wire?
RG56 Coaxial just uses grounded aluminum sheilding outside the dielectric and copper. You can do the same with some wire mesh wrapped around 2 2×4′s with a space inbetween for the dogwire to traverse through. Then, bury the 2×4′s. Voila
