How do I get the malachite green stain from the silicon on my aquarium.?
I need to add saltwater now to my freshwater aquarium as my goldfish still has a white patch that the malachite green did not remove. But the aquarium is stained on the sides where the silicon is.

does the stain really matter
it wont do anything to the water but if your worrying about it looking bad put somefake plants infront of it so you dont see it
it is very hard to get stains off with out soaps and stuff like that but if you use them you could kill all your fish so its best to not take the risk
keep scrubbing it but if i where you i wouldnt worry about it
the tank glass will probably go green with the salt water which is good for the tank
it is all live bacteria that you need to keep the tank clean so just try and keep the front of the tank clean so you can see the fish
and to make sure your fish survive. always buy your water already made and make sure it is the right salt level and do a one third water change every 2 weeks and have lots of live rock. and make sure you have a strong fish and dont put to many fish in the tank and if a fish dies take it straight out and do a water change to stop amonia
