What to wear for my daughter’s christening at a 1,000 year old Roman Catholic cathedral in Sicily?
I have an elegant and modest solid jewel toned green dress with a skinny black patent leather belt and an identical dress in all black but can’t decide which would be more appropriate. My mom and my husband like the black because it looks classy, but I’m not sure if black would be appropriate for the occasion, also, the ceremony will be held in late morning or early afternoon. Please help as I don’t have any idea! Also, do I need hosiery? gloves? a hat???
As long as the green dress is modest, I’m sure it will be fine. A mantilla rather than a hat would be good, hosiery would be alright probably, I don’t know about gloves though.
