What should I wear to my brothers graduation ceremony?
I’m 22 years old and my brothers graduation ceremony is coming up very soon and I’m not sure what to wear. It’s going to be held in a cathedral and I will obviously be in the photograph afterwards so I want to dress quite smart.
I already have a nice white shirt and some smart slip on black leather shoes. I’m not sure what trousers and jacket/blazer to wear, though. I’m thinking about buying a charcoal grey colour suit, similar to this:

Or a slightly lighter grey.
What do you think? I’ve never been to a graduation ceremony before so I don’t know what people usually wear.
James, if you have a better suggestion then I’d like to hear it.
The shirt I will be wearing isn’t plain white and I can obviously choose a tie which reflects my personality.
Most adults wear suits. I am 14; I wore a shirt and tie to my older brothers grad ceremony, but most of the adults were in suits. They ranged from gray to navy blue to black. The shirts were mostly white or blue.
