do i need to use backerboard on an accent wall in bathroom that i am tiling with glass tiles.?
i am using backerboard on floors over the plywood and using backerboard in the shower. On the other side of bathroom i want to do glass tiles on the whole wall for accent but do i need to put up backerboard or can i just put it up on the sheetrock?
Just as the others said, as long as it isn t in a water area, going over the dry wall is fine.
The use of a special thin set mortar is all thats called for when using glass tiles.
