can you use a ceramic kiln to anneal glass?
I found a ceramic kiln for sale in my price range. I need to know if i can use a ceramic kiln to anneal glass or if there is any difference.
Most ceramic kilns can not anneal glass
Glass kilns have a finer control of temperature
Also most ceramic kilns get up to temperature then are shut off and allowed to slowly cool
The cooling is not controlled
To anneal glass the temperature is controlled during the cooling
