My son just got his new glasses, and they make him look cross eyed. He has one lazy eye, what do I do?
In his old glasses his eyes never crossed. I don’t want his eyes getting worse. Is it something wrong with the glasses? Or does he just need time to adjust to his new stronger lenses? He is extremely farsighted, one lazy eye, and an astigmatism in both eyes.
My eye doctor offers vision therapy to help correct things like lazy eyes in kids. Go see your eye doctor to make sure your son’s eye is actually crossing or if the lenses just make it look that way. Then see if your son can get vision therapy or something like that to help his lazy eye.
