What do you think about glass sculptures and are you interested in glass fairs?
It’s called Reflect 2010 and it’s the specialist London glass fair, at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX from 11am – 5pm.
Apparently it’s going to be amazing. I think it’s just £5 to see lots of really imaginative glass sculptors. I’m a big fan of Jilly Cunningham in particular, but I’m also interested in seeing other artists work. It’s a really unusual field, so you don’t often get a chance to go to fair that’s completely about glass.
What do people think of glass sculptures generally? What fascinates me is how they manage to hone such a tricky material into such beautiful art. If only I had a few hundred to actually BUY some….
IT’S ON SUNDAY 13TH JUNE! Sorry, forgot to mention that. Am def going.
I did a search to find http://www.reflectlondon.com/ and looked at some of the artist links. I would hope the show attracts enough people, although it is kind of an odd mix of artists and people selling current and older production glass. Since you are going, perhaps you could e-mail me a description or even some pictures, since I can hardly travel from Dallas. http://www.mikegigi.com/sitemap.htm
