Fusible Paper

Fusible Paper
why isn’t my fusible backed applique adhering to my project?

I have that fusible stuff.
I put the fabric on the rough glue side.
ironed it on it
it stuck very well to it.
then i let it cool. then i peeled the paper off of the applique.
then i roned it onto the project.
but for some reason my applique is not adhering to my project/
my project is 50% cotton
50% polyester as recomended.
Also the HeatNBond says no sewing is to be done because of the thickness of the bond/
But now what?it did not bond?
No…
it seems to be old or i overheated it?
i will touch it up with my stitch Witchery tape i guess? My thread keeps breaking on my sewing machine so i can’t do a nice edge now:( thanks to all who answer

I have at least 6 different types of fusibles and you must follow the directions to the ‘T’…….and if you did and it still did not adhere to the fabric I hope you saved your receipt because that stuff does get old and then it won’t work…………
I am assuming you used ‘Heat n Bond….
Place the fabric right side DOWN on the ironing board. Place the sticky side of the fusible webbing onto the back of the fabric with the paper side up. Iron on according to fusible webbing instructions…….there may be a 1-800# on your pkg.
Here are a couple links to check out on fusibles
