How do you make fused glass jewelery?
You might start with www.warmglass.com or Lundstroms books on kiln working glass, but the simple answer is you get glass that will not destroy itself on cooling, called tested compatible, from Bullseye or Spectrum, and others and you cut the glass to interesting shapes and stack them and you heat them to something between 1350F and 1500F depending on the effect you want – the higher the temp, the flatter the surface of the glass. You then cool quickly to 1000F to avoid a problem called devitrification and then cool slowly (anneal) to avoid strains that will break the glass.
So you need a glass cutter, a place to work and at least a small kiln.
