Glass
White clouds
stained glass windows
aluminum foil
fog
cellophane
cardboard
wax paper
black board
mirror

What do sharp shadows tell us about the way light travels?

Please Help!!!

Glass – transmits, absorbs, reflects and scatters -different glass is able to do each of these to different degrees.
Cloud- depending on thickness it will transmit, absorb, reflect and scatter.
Stain glass will transmit its color, absorb, reflect and scatter.
Aluminum will reflect and scatter it will absorb a little, not much
fog – again this depends upon how thick it is. It is capable of transmitting, absorbing, reflecting and scattering.
Cellophane-transmits, absorbs, reflects, scatters
cardboard, absorbs, scatters, reflects
Wax paper transmits, absorbs, reflects, scatters
Black board absorb all colors, very small reflection, scatters
Mirrors depending upon whether it is a front mirror or a back mirror. Front mirror, front surface has the reflecting substance on it. This would reflect light with very little absorption with some scattering.
