is it better to feed my cat in a glass bowl compared to a plastic bowl?
Seems like I read somewhere that a glass bowl was better, but I can’t remember the reason why.
Plastic is porous and can hold bacteria. This is not an issue if you wash the bowl daily in hot soapy water or use the dishwasher. Glass is non-porous and easier to keep bacteria free. If it’s a heavy glass or ceramic dish made for pets, it’s probably safe. Breakage and injury to your cat would be the only concern.
