can a 14 inch bolt cutter cut through a standard master padlock?
I have a padlock on my desk that i forgot the combo to and i need to open it somehow. THe cheapest bolt cutter on amazon is 14 bucks, and its 14 inches, but will it do the job?
some of the 14 inch bolt cutters dont open wide enough to get around the lock width you need the cutter to open up at least 3/8″ to 1/2″ to get enough leverage to cut through the lock. I have to cut locks about twice a week at the facility i work at, when an employee forgets or loses his key to their locker.I use about a 24″ cutter. .Robby Robinson
