Need painting help !!!!?
I am going to paint my motorcycle from Red to White. The Red has been painted twice,now it has 4 layers, 2 coats each time. Now I am going to white, I don’t know how may coat should I paint the white over to really see the beauty of the white. I am thinking of sanding it down to plastic, but I only have sand paper and my hands. It seems to be a really tough job without rotary tools.
Any idea/suggestion? If it’s really necessary to sand down, I would have to do that.

There are all kinds of paint removers. Depending on what kind ofpaint the red is, it would make more sence to use a remover and then sanding to get a good bite for the white.
