Removing existing plaster. Got old browning coat on wall, want to remove it without damaging plaster on adjace?

If I drill it every 6 inches, will it pryse off easily? Or, what is the best method here please? thanks in advance.
You could try cutting a line around the removal area, to the depth of the plaster with a small grinder.
Whether the plaster will come off easy,all depends on what the wall behind was build out of and whether the wall surface was primed previous to plastering.
All you can do is give it a go,if the plaster has to come off,then it has to come off.
