Need to plug cigarette adapter from radio into a wall out. How do you convert?
I have a satellite radio in my car that is powered by the cigarette lighter outlet. I want to listen to the radio in my yard, but need to plug it into a wall outlet. What attachment do I need to be able to power my radio currently operating with the cigarette lighter outlet with a wall outlet? Additionally, do I need to take into account the volts the unit is operating at?
You can’t just a adapt a 12V lighter plug to a 120V outlet, you’ll blow it up. You need an AC adapter for your radio, if one exists.
