are different brands of cutting discs pretty much the same?!?
if 2 or more brands of cutting discs have the same size and type of abrasive, are they pretty much effectively the same in performance?
they could have different types of bonding but does that really make much difference?
I mean if I’ve got one grade 24 silicon carbide cutting disc that costs £1 and another grade 24 silicon carbide cutting disc costing £2, are they pretty much the same?

What you may consider it Quality Control, If you buy, let’s say, chinese Carborundum disc’s and they shatter upon using one, that can cause you serious injury. So , if a manufacturer is ISO 9002 Certified, I’d surely go with that brand, they are high on Quality Assurance. That’s my position on the subject
