I’ve about had it! Is this a sign of things to come?
Since Sunday I’ve had the organist for my wedding bail on us, one of the groomsman got arrested for pot, and then what happened just now.
My engagement ring is a 1/3 c. diamond solitaire. We purchased a wrap that would be combined with the engagement ring and that would be the wedding band. Had it sent off last week and got a call yesterday that it was ready.
It looked like cr*p!!! Instead of making it look like one continuous ring, it looked like they super glued the two rings together (I know they soldered it, but just saying). And they acted like they were proud of it. I had them send it back, I won’t wear it looking like that. This was the one thing I was really happy about, I absolutely love my ring.
Is this a sign of things to come in the marriage? I can’t take much more of this!
NO! This is the stuff that happens that makes the wedding seem stressful, but really, you can do without a groomsman, and you don’t need an organist, but really the church can get someone else for you. You ring can be fixed!
I had my wedding band custom made for me and I was just so excited about that. Well, when I got it, I hated it! It actually made me feel sad to look at it! I adore my engagement ring, and I didn’t want to wear that wedding band forever considering how it made me feel! I finally spilled the beans to my husband and I brought it back to the jeweller and they took the ring back and made me a whole new ring.
This stuff is stressful, but it all blows over, I promise. On your wedding day, you’ll be so happy you won’t care about all this stuff.
