Simple advice for blogging?
Long story short. I want to make a blog. I want it to be about video game music and art news. I want to potentially make this popular. Hopefully expand into a real dot com site. Which glob site should I go with and why? Remember I want to potentially make money from ads off of this and get people read video game/art/music reviews. Thanks in advance
My suggestion is to focus your content down to doing just one of them, or if you insist on doing all three, separate them out into 3 (or more) separate blogs. To get the best search engine results, you will discover that separating your blogs into specific niches and focusing your content for each blog will ultimately deliver the most successful search engine optimization strategies.
Consider your visitors first, then your search engine strategies next, then finally your ease of setup. If it makes sense to your visitors to have all three in one blog, then do it. But if your posts about video games do not necessarily match the interests of someone reading about your art news posts, I would highly recommend making a complete separation and really focusing down your area of expertise within these topics.
