What if I mixed air dry clay and polymer clay? Would i still be able to bake it?
Just checking something out- im out of white and wont be able to get some anytime soon! Im thinking about making some air dry white clay out of homemade recipes, but need to know if i use it with polymer clay, if im allowed to bake it.
Depending on the particular air dry clay, some can be baked or fired in a kiln. So it depends on your recipe and the ingredients. The question is will it combine well with your polymer clay? You can only find this out through experimentation and that includes how long to bake it.
If you are curious and enjoy experimenting then try it. But if you want a definite success, then stick with the tried and true brands of clay you have been using and don’t mix vastly different products which have differing needs.
